
Chick-fil-A and The Fellowship of Christian Athletes would like to invite all coaches, athletes and fans of the Sweet Sixteen tournament to attend our second annual breakfast on Thursday, Mach 19th at the Calvary Baptist Church recreation center, downtown Lexington (on High Street, two blocks from Rupp Arena). The event, which will be held from 9AM to 10:30AM and will feature breakfast food from Chick-fil-A and inspirational messages from several coaches and players participating in the 2009 tournament as well as from former UK Basketball standout, J.P. Blevins.
The event is free for all Kentucky high school basketball coaches as well as the coaches and players participating in this years state tournament. Fans can attend for only $5. Note about parking and transportation: There is limited parking around the church. Teams are encouraged to park behind Rupp Arena and walk down High Street to the event. This year, we will run a shuttle starting at 8:30AM from the High Street entrance to the Hyatt Regency hotel. Please make note when you RSVP if you would like to ride in the shuttle.
