"Why did God create Satan?" This was a question that came up recently at our UK Coaches Bible Study. How you answer that question really says a lot about your worldview so when stumbled upon this debate featured on ABC's Nightline (thanks to a friends recomendation) that addresses this very issue, I thought I would share it here. It certainly is very interesting converstaion. It is definitely worth taking a look at if you have the time as several important issues are addressed and challenged.
I personally thought Mark Driscoll, the pastor of Mars Hill Church in Seattle does a great job of explaining the Christian faith in a such a limited and time restrictive forum. I had never listened to Mark before this debate, but I'll definitely be checking out some of his sermons at his church's website.
