FCA CHARACTER COACH PROGRAM
1-2-3...BREAK!

Nostalgia... a longing for something far away or long ago! Do you miss the smell of the locker room? Or perhaps you would get excited for a chance to share Truth with a team of student athletes? If so, have we got a deal for you!

FCA has access to many locker rooms across Central Kentucky. Last year, we at FCA started hosting weekly FCA Team Meetings for the Tates Creek Football, Franklin County Girls Basketball, and Woodford County Boys Basketball teams. This fall, we had 29 teams participate in Central Kentucky participate in the FCA Character Coach Program with well over 30 additional teams signed up to participate this winter and spring (by faith we are believing that we will see 100 teams participate in the next two years!)! For this vision to become a reality, we need your help!

The FCA Character Coach Program is an extension of the FCA Community Ministry, designed to reach the student athlete in the confines of their particular sport. In cooperation with the local coach, we seek to provide a message and encouragement at weekly FCA Team Meetings. Each week of the sports season, the “Character Coach” (that's you!) coordinates the FCA Team Meetings, speaking to the team themselves or working with FCA to set up a guest speaker. Best of all, they are able to develop relationships with the players and coaches over the course of a season and minister to needs as they arise. If you are looking for an opportunity and a blessing, here it is!
